After a lifetime of fostering creativity in others as an art educator, I changed paths to create my own art. Art is a life-long process of observation, exploration and experimentation. I find inspiration everywhere, in observing shapes, lines and colors. My subject matter could be anything, but I am drawn to organic shapes. Doing shows and festivals allows me to share what I love doing and at the same time continue as an art educator. I love talking about art. I hold a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Furman University, and an MA in Art Education from the University of Montevallo.
