I have been creating art since the 6th grade, but only selling my work for the last 21 years. I have been a public schools art teacher for 27 years. I love teaching and creating art. I love to attend art festivals or go to museums. My work is influenced by the bright colors of Folk Art. I love to paint on interesting/old things. A twin bell alarm clock was the first non traditional thing I painted on, and it has blossomed from there. My favorite thing to paint on was an old cigarette vending machine front.
I create art using seed beads, handmade papers, and paint on and in interesting things. I paint on vintage items such as transistor radios, FP toys, record players and inside vintage mirrors.
