TAKE ROOT
Join Moss Rock Festival’s TAKE ROOT initiative to plant trees and more in Alabama.
“Take Root” is in creative collaboration with Collin Williams, Professor of Art & Director of New Media at the University of Montevallo to present an MRF Nature Enclave feature (Booths 112-115) that will share knowledge about sustaining tree, wetlands, and various pollinators in Alabama. SPECIAL EXHIBITION
Collin Williams will be joined by Catherine Walsh, Associate Professor of Art & Art History at the University of Montevallo, to curate a Take Root special exhibition and connective multi-media installation featuring photographs, prints, and other digital works of art entitled “Take Root, Alight; Take Flight, Afloat”. The exhibition will address how a growing human population affects and interacts with the natural environment.
