The Jefferson County Master Gardeners Association (JCMGA) is a group of lay gardeners, trained and sponsored by ACES. Certified Master Gardeners volunteer their expertise and services to the community, providing reliable, relevant and reachable gardening information and educational opportunities. The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) operates as the primary outreach organization for the land-grant functions of Alabama A&M and Auburn Universities with the mission to help people and communities improve their quality of life and economic well-being.
