Wayne Gao | Michelle Chang

Wayne Gao developed a new method in flat surface vertical line from the Chinese traditional ceramic artworks and combined this method with his own special glazes. In 1992, Wayne Gao was honored to received the award of ” Artist Outstanding Specialized Talent” in China. In 1996, he was rewarded with the title of ” Youngest Chinese Folk Ceramics Art and Craft Master”. In 2003, Wayne Gao came to the United States to continue his artworks in ceramic. Michelle Chang has learned ceramic from Wayne Gao about 18 years. Using vivid colors on glaze painting is what makes our ceramic unique.
