Vallie Pate

Vallie Pate is a mixed media artist based in Birmingham, Alabama. Her work blends acrylic, gouache, and found materials – like oyster shells and repurposed wood – to create joyful, textured pieces inspired by faith, nature, and everyday beauty. Vallie’s art reflects her belief that creativity can bring light and connection to the world. In addition to her studio work, she shares her passion through workshops and community projects that encourage others to explore their own creativity. Her motto is, “I’m not a fine artist. I’m a FUN artist!”
