Utilizing digital equipment I photograph urban subjects primarily in low light or at night. In doing so, I use low light sensitivity settings to achieve full color saturation and narrow apertures to achieve maximum depth of field. Exposure is determined by the length of time the shutter is open. Natural light is the most frequent source of illumination although light painting with LED flashlights is sometimes employed for effect. No filters or flash units are used. Post processing is limited to making corrections required to have the image look as the scene did when I was there. Often this involves compensating for very bright and dark areas. The images we present in our booth are solely of our own hands. We our images on either metallic photo paper or satin finish canvas.
