Robyn Wilcox | Window Whimsy

I found great fun in repurposing items that might have otherwise been headed for the trash. I handcraft items using recycled drink cans, recycled metal window blinds, wire, colored glass, found objects, and a big dose of whimsy. Over time, my ideas have expanded from basic birds and butterflies to a variety of different creatures and shapes that stand, hang, spin and stick in the ground as well as wall decor and items that incorporate stained glass features.

As the type of person who always needs to be doing something with their hands, I have found creative fulfillment in finding new ways to reuse and recycle, especially knowing that each one can bring happiness to someone else.
