Creating Pottery is a way to connect with nature through the use of natural materials from the earth. My art work created functional wares for everyday use. As my artwork speaks to you, it should compete for a place in your home. As an artists in ceramics, I look for the simple language that comes from a piece of functional pottery. Pottery will speak to you, with non-verbal language, by the way it feels, looks and presents itself. As an artist, I am continually looking to grow my work through new forms, and techniques. My works is created on the potters wheel with the use of hand building techniques. Through imagination and inspiration form the world around me, I continue to seek out new forms and interests in functional pottery.
