I completed training in a formal jewelry school, Fargotstein, and went on to apprentice with Stanley Otaski, a Master Jeweler. At the same time I enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America and earned the title of GG or Graduate Gemologist. I have owned and operated two successful jewelry stores in Fort Myers, Florida. Upon retirement, I moved to The Bahamas where I opened my third jewelry store, Conch Pearl Galleries. There, I also wholesaled to local boutiques. The Conch Pearl was destroyed during Hurricane Dorian and I moved to Alabama to be near family. I am starting again as a jeweler of hand made pieces. I often bezel set sea glass I found on the beach, with embellishments of tiny shells, sand dollars, star fish and sea horses.
