Michael Bastian is a master carpenter by day building decks and house additions, and a hobby artist by night. His sculptures are rough and powerful yet classically simple. The dominant aspect of his work is its straightforward form – an aspect that makes these pieces very appealing to the viewer. Michael create objects with volume and openness using cast aluminum, tin, copper, wood , and almost any other material he can find.
