For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawing. There are sketchbooks full of my art from childhood, detailing my learning process. Both my parents are artists; working in many forms of media. Sculpture, clay, paint, paper, wood, etc. I studied fine art at the University of Montevallo and Auburn University.
Today, I spend much of my time painting and drawing in my home studio. I’m fortunate to do what I love and my family allows me to cultivate my passion. I’m interested in light, the little details of shadows, the curl of a dog’s tail, a thread, and any small thing that might not be noticeable immediately.
