I work in oil paints creating both abstract and representational pieces that aim to capture the emotion, grit and depth of life on earth. I use bold color, gravity and layering to explore the depths of emotions behind various elements of the world and of the human experience with all its beauty and heartache in the ordinary, extraordinary, the now and the eternal.
Bio
Mary Grace Wolnski is a self taught artist born, raised and currently based in Birmingham, Alabama. She began painting out of her home in 2009 and moved into 21st street studios in 2012 where she continues to work. She painted part time for the first few years of her practice and after building up enough momentum with her sales, switched to full time painting in February 2016. She sells her work through local shows and social media.
