Lora McGowan

Southern Artist, Lora McGowan has been painting since she was young. Although, attending So Illinois University, School of Fine Arts , it was watching her Mother and Grandmother paint scenes in her childhood home that instilled a love for painting. Lora, having worked in several mediums has settled comfortably into Acrylics as it lends itself well to being fast drying for the richness that layers of paint provide. Her past and passions play out on her canvases, bringing to life southern scenes ,farm animals, and childhood memories.
