In the words of Joel Lockeridge:
I am a pen maker and bourbon taster, and I love my work.

I love making wood talk.  For that to happen, you have to start with wood with a story.  Most of the items I produce are made from recycled materials, ancient reclaimed wood, even the bone from an alligator jaw.  My favorite material is the oak barrels formerly used in making bourbon whiskey.  My pens are made from oak in a variety of bourbon brands to create a unique, one-of-a-kind handcrafted gift.  I’ve shipped my work to 44 countries so far.

When making items from bourbon oak in my tiny shop,  the entire room smells like bourbon.  Ask me again why I love my work.
