Jeremy Martin is a visual artist based in Birmingham Alabama. Jeremy’s grandmother at an early age helped develop his talents. Through the support system of his parents, he has been able to better his craft throughout the years. Jeremy’s work connects with African Americans in a way that affords the opportunity to display not only one’s political beliefs, but the pain and anxiety as well as aspirations. His work is toned by an undercurrent of moral and collective responsibility to positively uplift and improve cultural representation by making art for all to see. Thus, he chooses art as a way to communicate and to invoke positive discussions.
