Gracelynn’s Clay Flowers

I enjoy working with clay for its delicacy, strength and suppleness. By adding vibrant oil colors into the paintings, it makes the objects come alive. My models are traditional flowers or orchids. I use oil-colors and brush to paint them on the clay, to capture the realistic looks and bring the flowers to life. The inspirations are purely out of the joyfulness mother nature has to offer. However, my most pleasant feelings occur when customers unbelievably say ‘wow’, having initially thought that the flowers were real. This admiration has assisted me to continue creating these ‘magics’ toward their satisfactions because these are the artworks that I love to do wholeheartedly.
