Hi my name is Donny. I got into 3D printing in the summer of 2016 and designed/printed way too many things in my first couple of months. A friend of mine told me I should do art festivals to help keep up the hobby of printer repairs and plastic costs. Eventually I found a type of skill for printing out extremely accurate Geographic landscapes and occasionally decorating them in a nice wood frame. I became such a fan of these and admire them way too much that I eventually made a website and started my own online ETSY business. Although I don’t get many orders (yet), It is the perfect way to fund my excitement of 3D printing and definitely helps as a secondary revenue source for a college student at the University of Montevallo! I like pieces these because it also keeps me (in a sense) close to nature.
