Each creation starts with a slab of clay and a basic idea of size, shape, and form. Each time, during the creation, new concepts come to mind and alterations and additions demand to be added or deleted. Thus, having each completed creation being a one-of-a-kind original. I never know what the final piece will look like until the final firing of the kiln.
