We are a family business (Kat Whatley and her parents, Jeanne and Will) operated from our home studio near Athens, Georgia. All our items are original designs by Kat, a 2017 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, in NYC (FIT). Kat is passionate about art and design and draws aesthetic inspiration from living and studying in the Middle and Far East. Partnering with non-profit, Thai Village, we focus on sustainable practices, fair trade, and improving the quality of life for everyone involved with our business. We are gratified to provide meaningful work for Northern Thai women, each with their own individual story, helping families to become economically secure.

BREAKING THE CHAIN OF FAST FASHION

We want to help break the chain of fast fashion with lovingly-crafted, high quality clothing and accessories. Zero waste is our goal–we save all the scraps from our cutting and sewing process and turn them into fun and funky new items: patchwork totes, backpacks, fanny packs, toiletry bags, scrunchies, headbands, garlands, and more are made from scraps that would otherwise go to the landfill. As part of our commitment to sustainability, all of our products include a warranty, are repairable by us, and are recyclable. At the end of a product’s life we offer free return shipping and store credit to encourage recycling rather than disposal. We then upcycle damaged or worn out items into new and useful things!

We strive to make the best designed, highest quality products, minimize waste at every step, keep old clothing in circulation and out of landfills, and take good care of everyone involved with us. These are our guiding principles. And we would LOVE to join you at Moss Rock Festival!
