I am a self taught oil painter from Selma, AL, currently residing in the Washington DC area. Both my uncle and grandmother are artists, and I have always drawn inspiration from their artistic practices and careers. I enjoy finding beauty in the ordinary, exploring everyday subjects such as still life, animals, architecture, and landscapes. I’m especially drawn to subjects with bright colors as well as interesting highlights, angles, reflections and perspectives.
