His passport says, Arthur Oglesby, but everyone calls him Butch. It seems that he’s always had a camera in his hands. When Butch was a child in south Alabama his mother let him use the family’s Brownie Hawkeye to make photos of his friends, family, nature and sometimes his toys. It was something he never outgrew. Today, after living in several states in the United States and spending nearly a decade in Europe he owns Blue Moon Studios which recently moved to Alabaster, Alabama. He has also begun a website called www.boglesby.com which is where you will find most of his fine art photography. Although his business is to photograph people, places and things for others, his passion is always to create photos that bring him pleasure and he hopes others enjoy them as well.
