Using their combined skills in taxidermy woodworking and sign painting Bryan and Bunny Cunningham create mixed media painting and sculptures steeped in Pop culture and American Folklore.
The materials used by the couple come from ethically sourced taxidermy and repurposed wood and found objects sourced near their rural Mississippi home studio.
Founders of the term “Gonzeaux Taxidermy” they combine traditional methods of folk art into untraditional mythical stories bringing new life to the history of the repurposed materials.
