Brad Smith

Brad Smith began blowing glass at Bucks Rock visual arts camp in Connecticut. Realizing his passion for working with his hands, Brad studied glass at the Appalachian Center for Craft, part of Tennessee Tech University. in 2012, he received his BFA, and relocated to Santa Fe, NM where he lived in worked in several professional glass studios as well as teaching. in 2017 Brad relocated to Asheville, NC where he built his own hot glass studio. Brad has studied at the Pilchuck glass school, Corning Museum of Glass, and Haystack Mountain school of Crafts. Brad show his work nationally and is active in the craft festival circuit throughout the southeastern US.
