Statement: I create handcrafted jewelry using traditional metal smithing techniques. Silver and gold filled are my favorite metals to work with incorporating freshwater pearls and gemstones. I make jewelry that I want to wear- simple and dainty yet versatile. I believe my passion for nature and simplicity translates into the organic feel of my designs. It is so exciting to take a piece of wire or sheet metal and transform it into wearable art. The most rewarding part of my work is when people tell me they love wearing my jewelry.
Bio: Anne Moore is an Alabama native currently residing in Birmingham, Alabama. Having always been drawn to the arts, she found her passion in jewelry design 15 years ago. Her style has evolved and with the addition of metal smithing, she has added more depth and dimension to her work. Her pieces are simple and dainty yet versatile.
