Allison Dailey

Allison Jane Dailey is a self-taught photographer whose work is printed, matted, and framed in various sizes in her home studio in Hoover, Alabama.  Some larger pieces are available on metal or canvas.  The artist’s adventurous spirit and love of nature, history, and travel is brought to life in her photographs with vivid colors and textures.  Much of her body of work is taken through a macro lens.  Photographs are taken “in the field” locally around Birmingham and during travel throughout the Southeast.  Some photos are digitally enhanced to bring out texture, patina, or create a timeless look.Allison Jane began showing her work at art festivals in 2014.  She was awarded First Place in Photography at the 2015 Art Sunday in Scottsboro, Alabama.
