Abigail Brewer

My name is Abi Brewer and I create vibrant mixed media paintings that represent my whimsical outlook on nature and culture. I utilize mediums like oil, resin, gold leaf, and even fabric to create colorful pieces that celebrate the beauty of the world around me. Many of my pieces are inspired by my love of nature, my personal memories, and my passion for my Chinese heritage. Prominent series within my work include my “Épaulement” self portrait collection, my Chinese mixed media fashion illustrations, and my “Butterfly Windows”. I adore the freedom and creativity that mixed media allows and I often find myself attempting to find new ways to create “magical escapes” for my viewer.
