2024 Featured Artists – Bendy Knees Design, Levi Levinson & Jordan Thompson

It’s time for our Featured Artists big summer reveal! It is our distinct pleasure to announce that Birmingham, Alabama’s Levi Levinson and Jordan Thompson of Bendy Knees Design have been selected as the Poster Artists of the 19th annual Moss Rock Festival (MRF), which will be exploring Art + Design, Nature, Smart Living and more November 2-3, 2024 at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Alabama.

Levi and Jordan have a bit of history with MRF. They joined us in 2021 as WonderKid Studios teaching artists, leading an art workshop experience entitled “Honoring the Lands”. We look forward to showcasing them in a more prominent way at the Festival this Fall as the Featured Artists! For years, their mural work has delighted us. It wonderfully merges art and design plus showcases bold color, nature, organic forms, and has great kinetic composition. The studio work, which encompasses 2D and 3D pieces from paintings to planters, is on a bit smaller scale, but still honors the essence, graphic impact, and the ever-important color pop of the murals.

Their artistic process also utilizes multi-media tools. They not only paint with a brush, but also using a tablet / technology. That hybrid, collaborative, and versatile approach to art and design is very Moss Rock Festival. Not to mention that Art + Design is central to MRF’s core mission and brand tagline. We love highlighting that synergy in this year’s Featured Artist selection. And it will extend to the festival poster too, as Levi and Jordan jumped at the chance to create the entire poster design. It’s MRF’s next big reveal next week. We can’t wait for you to see!
