Wreaths Re-Imagined
Artists and designers, both professional and amateur are busy creating wreaths made from re-cycled, re-purposed, found objects and natural materials to be displayed and sold. Also, an “Ask a Designer” tent will feature designers who will offer ideas and solutions for designing green interior spaces.

etc.spaces CHALLENGE :: Lighten Up
This year Moss Rock Festival would like to educate the public about advances in LED technology. The challenge for 2011 will be to create a light fixture using LEDs and   repurposed/upcycled materials. These fixtures may be an elaborate lighting system or individual lamps and must be comprised primarily of repurposed materials. Each participant will design, build and install these fixtures at the festival to create an illuminated environment for patrons to experience and purchase.

Nature Cake design expo & tasting
Cake designers from across the city will be showing off their skills in our “Nature of Cakes Expo” by designing a magnificent cake based on a particular theme. The 2011 theme is Plush Patterned Pillows– made with a grouping of at least three ornate pillow cakes. There will also be tastings of sheet cake provided by the cake designers for a small fee. The visual creativity and delicious tastings always makes this a popular event at the festival.
